Rainbow Beach: The Colourful Bikini Edit
It’s been a bit grey in England recently, in every respect and so here is my offering of colour therapy, in bikini form. Don’t get me wrong I love a muted piece of swimwear in rusty orange or muddy green but when your skin is a bit sun kissed and you are feeling the happy vibes on the beach then why not dress for the occasion. Here is my edit of happy bikinis in all shapes and sizes from designer to high street.
La Perla may not be the most affordable piece of swimwear but if you need support it goes without saying that you’ll do better to invest in one good quality piece rather than lots of cheaper ones. I am also loving British swimwear designer Emma Pake with all her bright prints and transparent trims.

I love French brands and Princess Tam Tam is one of my favourites – if you are looking for something different you’ll find it here, sizing can sometimes be a little small though – I always buy the next size up in most of my swimwear. Also if you’re looking for designer but haven’t got the budget, don’t forget to check out The Outnet for last season’s buys…who cares if it’s not this season, I still love this Mara Hoffman print.
Finally, how cute are these bikinis from Heidi Klein. They have collaborated with the colourful accessories designer Sophie Anderson to create these pom pom bandeau. They also have skimpier pom pom bottoms if you’re brave enough.
