Just before Christmas we were sent the cutest pair of water resistant gloves from kids travel brand, Snowballs and Sandcastles. Getting gloves on T-Rex usually goes something like this: erratic kicking (in my face) squirming and rolling to rival a WWWF champion, at which point I retreat defeated and we go to the park with a gloveless T-Rex. A couple of years ago when I was pregnant with T-Rex, I bought a gold dress (above) from Peckham Rye Indoor Market…I know classy huh? This last minute purchase was an attempt to look vaguely decent at a wedding whilst also being a swollen butterball at nine months pregnant. Well, people were probably being kind but I couldn’t have asked for a better reaction to my £20 gold dress – it was a hit.
This time last year we were getting ourselves ready for an Aussie Christmas down under. If you have never celebrated Christmas in the sun, it can be a bit of a weird one…but in a good way. In Australia, Christmas day is all about seafood platters or BBQs on the beach followed by a festive swim in the pool or the sea. One of the most amazing pools (I think)

I recently bought two new denim skirts which I wouldn’t normally do in winter. I always associate denim skirts with summer but I’m sick to death of my jeans and leggings already so thought it was time to get a bit more creative. I like a denim skirt with tights and trainers or an ankle boot works well. I personally think long boots look better with longer skirts as opposed to shorter or knee length

This mixed weather has me feeling all…masculine(!?)
